What are ratings?
Our research shows that people are more attracted to others who are serious about connecting, this being one-to-one as well as engaging with the wider community. The rating system helps to highlight the members who engage, especially when their communications are polite and positive. You can boost your rating through engagement around the site, then you can also vote to boost other members' ratings or simply identify those with poor ratings.
When are they updated?
Ratings are updated once daily based on the activity of the previous 24 hours. If you've enjoyed plenty of site interaction on a given day, just wait until the next day to see the fruits of your efforts and fun come to light by checking your rating.

What can make my rating go down?
Posting content and/or sending messages that offend others is an effective way to see your rating drop. If you're messaging someone, please be patient and courteous. Your ratings will also drop if you don't log in regularly.
Why does becoming a VIP boost your rating?
When you make a payment, it allows us to validate some of your details with a trusted source. That validation helps to authenticate you as a genuine site user.
Can I affect another member's rating?
Yes, you can boost the rating of someone you find polite or think is deserving. You can also reduce another member's rating if they're not respectful or genuine. This feature is for the improvement of the site community; persistent abuse of the rating system will not be tolerated. If you feel that you are being bullied or treated unfairly, please contact our support team.
