Transfer of User Memberships
We understand that, in some cases, it might be necessary to transfer a user’s membership from one profile to another. However, this is only possible under certain conditions to maintain the integrity and security of the system. Here's what you need to know:
-
Same Site Requirement:
We can only transfer membership between two user profiles that are on the same site where you have administrative or authorised access. This ensures that the transfer is legitimate and that the users are part of the same environment or ecosystem. If you need a transfer between different sites or platforms, unfortunately, that won't be possible. -
Verification Process:
Before any transfer is processed, we may ask you to verify yourself and that you have access to both profiles. This is to protect the user data and ensure the transfer is being made for the right reasons. We might ask for additional documentation or perform checks to confirm that the request is valid. Only after the verification is complete will the transfer proceed. -
Valid Reason Requirement:
We require a valid reason for the transfer to happen. This could include cases where a user has accidentally created multiple accounts, where the original account is no longer accessible, or where there is a necessary internal adjustment for the user’s membership details. However, we will not process transfers for arbitrary reasons or if it appears the request is for malicious intent, such as circumventing restrictions.
If you believe you meet these requirements, please contact our help desk to process the transfer.
The process is designed to protect both the users and the platform, ensuring that the integrity of the system and the fairness of user membership are upheld. If you're considering initiating a transfer, it's important to ensure that all the necessary conditions are met and that you can provide a legitimate reason for the change.
